About Our Staff
The Outdoor Education staff team is comprised of teachers, outdoor educators, university and college graduates and students. Our committed and caring leaders provide positive, wholesome experiences in which the accomplishments of each participant are celebrated.
Outdoor Education staff hold current qualifications in program facilitation and lifesaving standards including:
- National Lifeguard Service (NLS)
- Bronze Cross
- Standard First Aid & CPR ‘C’
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
In addition, many staff are graduates of the Wenonah leadership training programs and were themselves campers at Wenonah. This ensures that our staff are familiar with and support the Wenonah philosophy, understand our expectations, and are committed to providing the best experience for each visiting student and group.
All staff are required to successfully complete a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
